Hey boss, I recently made this video on howI want to grow my Instagram account this year, my Instagram growth strategy and you lovedit.
And one of the big things that I talked aboutwas the stop, stare, and read concept.
What I mean by that is that inside the algorithmon Instagram, it's really important to actually capture people's attention.
It's less about the vanity metrics, more aboutattention as a currency.
So making people stop, stare, and read ortake in and consume your content.
So I have some apps that I use that are likemy little secret weapons, when it comes to Instagram, to make sure that I am creatingthe most attention grabbing content that I can.
So I'm going to share those apps in this videoand I'm super excited to give you these deets.
So if you're excited about this, hit thatlike button, be sure to subscribe, hit the bell to be notified every single time I posta new video and let's get into these apps.
So the first app that I use, to get peopleto stop, stare, and read is by creating captions that actually have spaces in them becauseit forces people to scroll through and actually read the whole thing and not just sort oflike hover over it and then move on to the next thing.
So I want to create that space because itcreates more attention.
So the app that I use, it's actually justa link to a site.
It's like this magical little site that peopleuse, to create these spaces.
So if I were to take a caption, which I writeinside the notes on my phone, I would take the caption and I would write it as I wouldwant it to appear in Instagram.
So I've written this caption from a recentpost and I'm just going to take the whole thing and basically copy and paste this, ifit will copy and paste.
There we go, select all, copy.
And what I do is, once I put it into thislink, I'm just going to paste it, hit convert and copy to clipboard and then it's set togo.
All you have to do is then open up the Instagramapp and post it.
That's as simple as it gets.
So let's just say it was for this caption, I would then take this, select all, I would go paste and it shows up exactly as you wantit to with the captions.
So that's my first two secret weapons, thenotes on my phone and instant captions, which you can grab below this video.
The next app is for creating viral content.
Now you may have noticed this post.
This post dated recently and it has a littlecomparison chart in it and I've done a few things like this recently.
Also, this post that was the reminder graphic.
So all I used to create these is, we put theminto Canva and we've created a bunch of templates and I'm actually going to share with you aresource from a friend of mine, Katja, that she created to help you create these viralimages to get more share-ability on Instagram.
So you'll be able to find that below.
But you can take a look right now and seethese Canva templates that we've put in here because of her resource and her templatesthat she's already created.
So we kind of started doing this on our ownand then she reached out and was like, “This is actually something I have a ton of resourceson.
So if you want it, you can use it.
” It's amazing to see how much these kinds ofposts are getting shared right now.
So it's a great thing to incorporate intoyour Instagram strategy and they're super easy to create, once you have the templates.
All you have to do is upload them into Canvaand then you can edit them with your branding and with your words and with your thoughtprocess for what you want to post on Instagram.
So I'll share that with you again, in thelink below.
The next app that really helps make your photospop and I don't use this often.
Generally, my photos are unedited, that Iput in my feed on Instagram.
But sometimes when I want to add a littleextra oomph, my go-to app for this is Lightroom.
So Adobe Lightroom.
So all you do is, you just simply have yourphotos stored in here and it connects with your phone and the photos in your library.
You put them into Adobe Lightroom and youcan add presets to the Lightroom to make your photos pop in whatever way you want to.
And it helps you create a cohesive aestheticwith your images, if that's something you're interested in doing.
So let me show you really quickly what thatlooks like.
Let's say if you wanted to take this picturehere.
So I'm going to go into the presets, whichI have here and I've loaded these from, you can get presets anywhere, you can get themfrom Etsy.
A lot of influencers on Instagram have specificpresets that you can use and adopt for your own brand.
So basically I can tap on the preset onceI've uploaded the photo and then I can just go through and pick which preset I feel matchesthe vibe that I want to put onto the Instagram photo.
So this is a great way to make your photospop a little more, make them look slightly more professional.
Even if you're using your camera roll or yourphone as your camera.
It just gives it a bit more of a professionallook and feel and it's amazing, the difference that it makes.
So again, this is my go-to if I do want toadd a bit more of an oomph to my photos.
So the next app is something that I mentionedin this video, all about how I create my Instagram stories and one of my favorite apps to makemy Instagram stories pop, so that people don't just scroll past them is called Mojo.
If you haven't heard a Mojo, it's awesomeand it makes it look like your Instagram stories were created professionally.
So I'm going to show you what it looks likeand how you can create them really easily.
So when you go into the app, you'll actuallysee a bunch of different templates, like glitch and film frames and photography and minimal, et cetera.
So let's just say I wanted to use this andI'm just going to pick a photo that I want to use.
Let's just say it's this picture and I wantto add some text on top of that.
Let's do camera give away, swipe up to enter.
All I have to do is just enter the text Iwant, to enter, done.
And then that saves as this video that youcan upload to your Instagram stories and you can just go directly to your Instastoriesfrom the app itself, which is pretty amazing.
Now there are two other apps that I love usingfor Instagram stories and they really make your Instagram stories pop.
So let's go into, actually I'll show you thatfirst.
So, that's what it looks like on the Instagramstory and then I would just post it.
So next app for really great Instagram stories, you can also create just graphics for your feed in this as well, is called Over and ithas some amazing and beautiful templates in here.
So I use this more for static images, ratherthan videos.
But for example, this photo right here, youcould take this and edit it and make it look however you want and add in whatever quotethat you want to personalize it to you.
So Over is another really great app.
You simply save it and then post it up onInstagram, on your feed or on your story.
Then the final one that is really cool, iscalled Clipomatic.
So you know how sometimes on Instagram storieswhen you're scrolling, it seems like people aren't really stopping to actually pay attentionto what you're saying.
And it really is a bit of a pain in the buttto have to write out everything that you're saying with text on the screen.
So this allows you to actually caption yourself.
So take a look, I absolutely love this appfor creating Instagram stories.
So, that's going to create subtitles on myInstagram story clips.
So that app is called Clipomatic and I highlyrecommend it.
Especially if you're doing some sort of promotionor contest or something that you really want people to hear what you're saying, addingcaptions to it in this way and it automatically adds them, so you don't have to type themin, is a great way to do it.
Now the next app is called the Video Memeand I'm sure you've seen some of my posts on Instagram in my feed where you can createtop and bottom sort of caption rows and add in the video of your choice to make it squarefor the Instagram feed.
So Video Meme is a great app.
And the other thing I want to tell you about, it isn't an app, so I'm not going to count it as that, but it's called Repurpose.
io andit's an amazing, amazing tool for repurposing your content.
So if we have a YouTube video and there'sone clip that really resonates with our audience, we'll take that clip and then we'll post itonto Instagram using Repurpose.
io.
It is a paid service, but it does work reallywell and it helps you distribute your content in more places and fit them to the parametersof what that social platform needs.
So if it's a square for Instagram feed, ifit's a story and it's vertical, it'll do both of those things, which is really amazing andit's a streamlined way to distribute your content in more areas.
The final app that I want to talk about issomething I mentioned a few times and I know some of you really don't like it, but it doeswork for me and I've never had a problem.
So I know there's a lot of you that also useit and have never had a problem and it's called WhenToPost.
So basically it tells you exactly when youshould post and your most optimal posting times on Instagram.
So you install the app and you can see anyday of the week your most optimal posting times.
This helps you capture the most attentionyou can in that time.
Now if you're not a fan of this app, the otherthing that you can do is go into Instagram itself and you can go into your insights.
So you'd go on the top right here, you'd gointo your insights, you'd go into your audience and you would go to the bottom and you'd seein this graph when people are most active on the platform, in your specific audience.
Those are the times when you want to be posting.
So for me, it's between 9:00 and noon arethe most active times.
So, WhenToPost just makes it a little bitmore specific.
Now, if you don't like it, that's okay, justuse these insights within Instagram itself.
Now I used to plan and schedule my posts inapps like Planoly and Later because I wanted to see what my feed would look like becauseI've moved towards more of a minimal feed and I really like to post more in the momentcontent now and I'm not posting nearly as often to my feed.
You can watch this video on why that is andmy Instagram strategy.
But because of that, I'm not planning my feedsuper far in advance and therefore, I'm not using those apps any more.
So now when I want to schedule posts, I writethem inside of Instagram.
I just saved them as a draft and that's whereI have my schedule posts that I'm going to be posting throughout the week on Instagram.
Let me know if this video was helpful foryou and let me know which apps you're going to be using for yourself.
I know it's can make a massive differenceto your content and I can't wait to see it.
Be sure to hit the subscribe button and hitthe bell for new videos every single week.
Give this a like if you enjoyed it, shareit with someone who wants to see this.
And make sure you check out these videos nextfor even more Instagram growth info and all the tips and tricks that I use on my own account.
Thanks for watching.
I'll see you next time, bye.
