Hello and greetings from Eastern Europe, myname is ColdBeer and this is my list of upcoming real time strategy games in sci-fi or similarsetting that would probably be appealing to fans of Starcraft, Command & Conquer and similargames.
Let’s start with Dark Moon This is a survival strategy game where timeis working against you.
With the electronics down it is up to youto traverse the lunar soil and try to make contact with Earth while managing your crewand resources.
You will never know what you will encounteralong your way, thus be prepared to make crucial decisions and live with the consequences.
And whatever you do, remember – don’t gointo the light, go like this, around it, because massive solar storm is generating extremeheat.
Remember the Chronicles of Riddick movie whereapproaching sunlight vaporized everything? Yeap, it’s the same here.
Actually this setting was already used inStarcraft 2 mission named Supernova, where heat of exploding sun burned your base andyou had to move constantly in order to survive.
Anyway, in Dark Moon you are alone, and noweverything within the Sun's reach is gone within seconds.
The light is your enemy and the darkness isyour salvation.
Basically here you can imagine what is thefeeling to be in a shoes of a vampire.
Iron Harvest Inspired by the paintings of polish artistJakub Różalski the title presents an alternative history of Europe in a year 1920.
Here technological development took a differentturn than in reality – in addition to planes in the air and early tanks, the humans inventedgiant walking machines.
So, this is alternative past with robots.
Most of them look really oldschool, maybeeven powered by coal or.
.
.
i don’t know, maybe tears of virgin girls.
Right, so basically the same thing.
Oh shut up.
I have tried to ask for beta access of thisgame three times already, but I received no answer whatsoever, so I guess public relationsare not the strongest part of their company, but anyway, game looks cool, I’m definitelyplaying it upon release.
Homeworld 3 After remastering first two Homeworld gamesand releasing Deserts of Kharak it was just a matter of time when third part of this epicstrategy game will pop in to the gaming world.
Creators collected one and a half milliondollars in pledges on fig.
co, so the game is really happening.
There is no real gameplay video released yetexcept this one you're seeing right now.
I can only guess, but it seems that it's madewith a game's engine or at least imitates it.
Also I was very pleased to hear that composerof previous games, Paul Ruskay, is back to create some more amazing tracks.
Homeworld had one of the best space soundtracksI have ever heard.
Near East, arabic notes created an image inmy head of riding camel at night in a middle of the desert and that was somehow like amethapohor for traveling through the endless cosmos with your metal spaceship armada.
Starship Troopers: Terran Command I can remember when I saw Starship Troopersmovie for the first time.
It was year 1997, I was 13 years old and Iwent to the cinema with my 70 year old grandfather.
I was gobsmacked by the great battles andall that bug massacre and my grandfather after the movie was pale as piece of paper.
He said in trembling voice “wow, for methat was like a World War II again”.
Well, probably for those who survived thehorrors it has another meaning.
But hey, my grandfather is 90 now and we stilldrink vodka together when I meet him, so he’s ok, he recovered from that shock of StarshipTroopers quite well.
So, this game will have a model similar toThey Are Billions – here you can literally relive the best moments of the movie by defendingyour base from hordes of bloodthirsty ladybugs.
Well, I hope they will add more animations, because what.
.
.
what is this? Anyway, despite that for now game needs abit of more polish, it looks promising and I’m looking forward to it.
Gray Zone This is a real-time tactical strategy game.
The plot of Gray Zone revolves about a slavenamed Valern, who decides to free himself from the corrupt authorities ruling the entiregalaxy and oppose them along with other rebels.
As you can suspect, the action of Grey Zonetakes place in the distant future on colonized, culturally diverse planets, on which you willencounter not only unique animals and monsters, but also various diverse characters.
Well.
.
.
we have distant future, evil rulingthe galaxy, colonized diverse planets and rebels.
Don’t you think that something is amiss?.
.
.
Jedi knights? Yeap, I think you got my point.
Also keep in mind that original Command & Conquergame, released in 1995 will get a remastered version this June.
And that’s not the end.
The one and only, legendary Red Alert is alsogetting remastered version.
It would be a crime for me not mention thatthe remaster will have full content of Counterstrike and The Aftermath add-ons, which offers dozensof new missions and maps, as well as several additional combat units and new gameplay solutions.
And now don’t hesitate to subscribe andpress that like button, if you’re still here, you must agree that this was a nicelist and I can promise that I will make more of those in the future.
Also you can support me on Patreon.
You know, even one dollar a month is reallyimportant, so I could make more epic videos for you instead of writing texts for evilcorporations and greedy politics.
It is way better to work with you guys andyou can really help.
Thank you for watching and I’ll see younext time, bye.
