[#18 Du lịch – Huế] Tham quan Đại Nội Kinh Thành Huế

We are going to tell you the things we likeabout every piece of equipment as well as some disadvantages of it and overall shareour experience of using it.

And we hope that this video can help someof you who is just starting out and wants to document his adventures.

And anyone who is looking for new piece ofequipment too.

So on this table you can see all the equipmentthat we use to film with.

These are 3 of our main cameras and some accessorieslike remote control, aqua box, set up for shoulder strap, selfie stick and little tripod.

As you can see all the cameras we use arethe Sony cameras, it just happened to be like that.

It is known for one of the best quality forvideo shooting and we really could appreciate it while using them.

First of all we wanted to point out that wewon't do the full reviews of the cameras of course that you can find on a bunch of otherreview channels on YouTube.

But we'll rather talk about our own experienceusing it and filming our travel and adventure content.

So the first camera we are going to talk aboutwill be the camera that we purchased first and it's the Sony AX53.

When we were just starting out more than 2and a half years ago we've been looking for the camera that could be multifunctional andcould cover all the basic needs of the newbie videographer.

And we are still thinking that it was oneof our best purchases.

We like it because in the first place it hasthe ability to 20x optical zoom and for us it means that we can easily capture all thenature details and spot animals at a great distance while still having decent qualityand not carrying a huge professional video camera.

It's quite compact for the zoom it has.

That is one of main reasons why we love itso much and won't exchange it for any other camera for now.

There is simply no other alternative cameraon the market right now.

Secondly we also love it for its 5 axis opticalsteady shot stabilization, and we believe it to be one of the best in the market.

And when you're hiking and walking it's superimportant.

Usually with the other cameras you need touse the steady cam in order to have similar stabilization.

And for us it means carrying extra weightwhich is unacceptable.

Also there's many other small things we likeabout it.

Like for example the Grip is very solid andmuch more convenient to us than any DSLR or point and shoot for video.

Picture quality and brightness is very goodas well.

The viewfinder is great especially for smalldetails or detailed focus.

It holds the battery quite well for a longtime.

And finally the materials it is made of areVery sterdy and after 2 and a half years of use nothing has broken.

Now talking about disadvantages our main concernabout it is that it's not waterproof.

It can be damaged even by the drops of wateror small rain.

We noticed that in the morning when we areout sleeping in the tent the humidity enters inside and it starts to make weird sounds.

First we thought that it was the end of itslife.

But then realized that it was going away aftersome time in the sun.

It dries up but then it repeats again on thenext morning.

So this camera definetely wasn't thought forwilderness and difficult weather conditions like rain, humidity, changes in temperaturesetc.

The perfect conditions for it are the sunnydays.

And we're using it to the limit.

At the same time its use indoors is also limiteddue to it not being very fast.

Also it doesn't have enough depth of fieldbecause of the small sensor format and it's not very wide angle.

Also it can be heavy and bulky for some peopleto carry around.

Next camera we use for video is an actioncamera Sony X3000.

This is one of the recent purchases of oursthat we bought this year.

And main reason was to be able to film inany weather conditions and also when it is simply very hard or impossible to film onsome difficult parts of the trail.

It is very small and when we first got itwe couldn't believe that it can actually film after having our big brother camera.

It seemed very compact and light.

The image quality is the same as high as inthe previous camera.

Stabilization works fine too, very similarto the big camera due to it being wide angle.

For more wide angle shots it's one in a kindfor us, very useful especially in the mountains for panoramic shots or timelapses.

In a previous camera we felt lack of thiswide angle and felt that we really need it.

But here the focal length is fixed and theoption to zoom in simply doesn't exist.

It has a digital zoom but it's the same asyou would do by editing afterwards sacrificing the quality of the picture so it really hasno use to us.

The stereo sound of built in microphones isquite good as you find in most of similar cameras.

And for now we don't use any additional externalmicrophones.

Wind protection of the sound is quite badso we have to use it with our DIY little sponge which cuts some of bad noise.

But there maybe some of official accessoriesto it too.

So overall we are really happy with this additionto our camera family.

But of course it has some disadvantages toit too.

The Battery life of it is quite short comparedto our big camera.

And having several spare batteries is theonly solution.

Record button is very easy to push.

For example we had a case when the camerawas just laying in the backpack in some pocket and it started recording itself eating thebattery life.

So we use a special case for it now when weneed to carry it inside the backpack and with that it didn't repeat anymore.

We chose this action camera over more popularGo Pro not only because it's brand Sony but in the first place because of its differentform factor.

It's simply more convenient to use for us, easier to hold and we are just more used to it for video footage.

This camera is great for time lapses, youjust need to push the button and that's it – very little mess up with menu and parameterssetting.

Lense is the weakest spot of this camera becauseit sticks forward like this and if you don't use any protection and drop it – it can breakand the repair would not be worth because it's too expensive.

But if you're careful enough nothing wouldhappen of course and also there is an official cap protection you can buy so if you're doingany extreme sports or activities and concerned about it – there is a solution.

And the third camera that we are going toshow you today will be another Sony – RX100 M5.

This camera we bought in between these twoabout year and a half ago.

And our main motivation to buy it was beingable to take high quality photos while we are out travelling.

Because before we've been carrying our bigDSLR Pentax and our main concern about it was its weight and bulkiness.

Despite the great quality and versatility.

So this Sony RX100 M5 allows us not sacrificingthe quality of the photos having a compact and light camera.

We use it mainly for photography and we willdiscuss it only from this perspective as another two cameras cover all our video needs.

We like that it has a flip up screen for shootingus both good viewfinder that we are used to with DSLR.

It has Fast auto focus which we like.

And it's quite versatile even though the focallens is only 24-70 mm zoom equivalent to full frame.

We still manage to take all sorts of pictureswith it starting from landscapes and selfies to some close up shots of flowers and insectsat 24mm.

The sensor is Not too small and it has a verylight aperture of 1.

8.

We realize that for the video in low lightconditions it will perform much better than our big Sony AX53.

But we almost never shoot in such conditionsso for us it's just a nice feature to have.

And there are no really obvious disadvantagesin this camera for the crop factor it has and the purposes we use it for.

And finally we want to show you some of theaccessories we use while we're filming out on the trail.

This is our small Joby tripod that we initiallygot for the action camera Sony AX3000.

Now we use it also for our point and shootphoto camera.

We wanted something that was light, good qualityand budget friendly.

And fortunately we found it – this is thesmallest of the Joby tripods range.

And it's the best for how light it is andprice quality ratio.

We use it all the time for filming us bothin the shot, doing photos and timelapses.

There is our selfie stick which was also anew purchase for us.

We mainly use it for selfies of course withour photo camera but also for some wide angle shots with the action camera.

It is great when using underwater as well.

Then we have our remote control that providesus a connection between all of our Sony cameras.

Very useful to have when filming long talkingvideos like this one and also being able to see yourself in this little screen.

Also we use it for some photos.

Its waterproofand It has a wi-fi connection and the distance you can use it is limited to several meters.

Here is our aqua box that was bought in aset with our Sony AX3000 action camera.

We haven't used it that much to be honestwith you.

But when we could snorkel at the seaside orin some lakes we've been using it quite a lot.

And could appreciate the ability to film underwaterand a great quality.

We plan on using it more the next season.

And the last piece is our set up for the shoulderstrap again for the action camera.

We use it not very often mainly when we'rehiking through some challenging terrains and simply can't hold the camera in our hands.

Also when the weather is extreme or when we'retoo tired to film.

Thanks to this set up even in the most difficultconditions we still can film everything.

The only thing we don't like about this typeof a set up is that stabilization of the shot is quite bad and gets worse when you're walking.

But as we don't use it often for several shotsit's not a big deal.

So what camera we would advice for peoplewho are just starting out? We personally love them all and don't haveany particular preference.

It all depends on your needs, preferencesand budget of course.

We always try to choose the best deal of price- quality ratio and don't really have any brand preferences.

Even though it may seem like that.

But if Pentax would come out with better camerafor video we probably we'll take it because we find it more convenient and economic.

Talking about drones we were considering itsome time ago but it simply not efficient enough for us as it doesn't hold the batterywell and it adds quite a bit of extra weight to carry.

So at the moment we don't plan to buy it.

For now we are happy with the camera set wehave.

We think it works really well for us.

But it may change in the future of course.

With that being said we want to end this videoand we hope it was useful and interesting to you.

As well as could clarify some of your questions.

Hopefully it may help any of you in your choiceof the first camera of if you're thinking to change some of your equipment.

Let us know about that in the comments.

And also we're curious to know what camerado you use and like? Give this video a Like if you would like tosee more videos like this in the future.

And subscribe to our channel of course inorder not to miss it.

We say goodbye for now! And until next time! Bye!.
