There's loads of reasons why wedevelop a double chin and it's not to do with weight there's loads of otherfactors too for example genetics posture and age and many more in this week'svideo we're going to look at how you can reduce the appearance of a double chinso all the
waiting for let's do this now in terms of treatments we really havetwo options the first one is surgical treatments which I will leave moreinformation in the description below for you if you're interested and the secondone is lifestyle changes and exercises which is what this video is really aboutso
let's first begin with the exercises now the bad news is there is no specificscientific study that shows how effective these exercises are atreducing a double chin however anecdotally online there is a lot ofevidence supporting them so let's begin with them let's maybe do a voiceoverscene showing you how
to do each exercise and how many to do now to beginwith we first need to warm up the area with some neck rotations slowly turningas far as is comfortable hold this for five seconds and repeat three times oneach side now the aim of the exercises are to strengthen
and tone the musclesand skin between the neck and jaw aim to do these six exercises at least oncea day so to begin with tilt your head backand look towards the ceiling push your lower jaw forward to feel a stretchunder the chin and hold this for 10 counts next
relax your jaw and returnyour head to a neutral position aim to do this 10 times next up is the ballexercise so place a small ball or cylindrical object under your chin andpress your chin against it repeat this about twenty-five times remember thatyou can always rest between these exercises
so don't feel like you have todo them all at once I just want to show you them all in one go so let's go toexercise number three so next up tilt your head back and look at the ceilingpucker your lips as if you're kissing the ceiling 15 times
and make sure you get agood stretch in the area beneath the chinonce you're done bring your head back to its normal position now let's move on to the tongue stretchso look straight ahead stick your tongue out as far as you can and lift ittowards your nose try and
hold this for 10 seconds then release and repeat itten times we're nearly done only two more exercises left so tilt your headback and look at the ceiling press your tongue against the roof of your mouthand hold this for five to ten seconds and then release repeat this ten
timesand the final exercise remember the first one that we did the last one isvery similar to it so tilt your head back look at the ceiling and next turnyour head to the right then slide your bottom jaw forward hold this for five toten seconds and repeat it five
times on the right side and five times on theleft side okay so that's exercises done but my next question for you is how isyour weight status are you overweight are you underweight are you normal so theeasiest way to check this is by checking your BMI so why I
will do is leave alink in the description below and it's very easy to use you just add yourheight and your weight and your gender and it will calculate your BMI statusfor you now if you are overweight the good news is that I did make a video notlong ago
