– So a lot of people, especiallynow, have been able to work from home and they'regoing to be obliged, happy to work from home, so, I wanna share my tips about having to work fromhome in the past few years.
And even for me, it's beenhard in these recent times, 'cause it's good to work from home, but it's one thing if you have to be there all day and you can't go out.
So I got a few tips onhow you can work from home and do things right and eventually achieveyour goals as a trader, practicing doing thingswhile you're at home.
Lots of traders have comeback to Bangkok in Thailand.
I'm on the roof-top of my apartment now, we are benefiting from thisto go out and get some wind, which is really cool, well worth it.
So as I said, today I wannashare with you three things, three tips that can haveyou work from home better and I know that there's videos online talking about fifty tips to work from home or twenty five tips to do itright, but I prefer three, 'cause I think you'd be ableto implement them better and remember them better.
So the first tip I have foryou is to forget disciplines.
So I think discipline isreally, really overrated.
People talk about discipline or needing to be disciplined all the time and that doesn't work, that's a concept that doesn't work.
Because discipline is a symptom of something else goingon in the background.
So one issue is thatpeople think discipline is what they have to aim for, but discipline is aresult of other things.
So if you don't have these other things planned out properly, thendiscipline won't work.
It's kind of like, if you go see a doctor and you have a problem and the problem is you have pain somewhere, it's like discipline, but the cause of that is different.
It's not discipline, so youhave to work on other things.
That's the first step, so, forget discipline, forget focus, these things will come once you have other things in place.
The second tip I have, is you need to think about your day as having a balanced day.
So it needs to be balanced.
You can't just go and work all day, or you cannot just goand do one thing all day or force yourself to dothings that doesn't work.
And what you wanna do, is you wanna have five things in your day.
So first of all, think abouthaving physical activity, education, so research anddevelopment in your trading, then production, so thatwould be you trading or you doing somethingactive to create something for your income or something else.
And then social is the fourth one, so social time with your partneror something else around, your friend or whatever.
And if you're a trader, you want to make that social time with traders if you can, so, in a community, talking toeach other on the phone, or on Zoom, online, that's super helpful.
And the fifth one, lastone, is relax time.
So you need time to kindof unwind and relax, get ready for the next day and make sure you're notstressed out all the time.
So those are the five things to have in pretty much every day.
You'll see that if you miss one, it is gonna be fine for a day or two, but then after a while it'sgonna get really unbalanced and that's where things kind of shift and you won't get the kindof results you wanna have.
And you will not feel happy atthe same time with yourself, so you won't know these things for sure.
Then third tip I have for you, which is really probably the best one, is you wanna be able to createsystems around your day.
Like we have systems for trading, we have systems for what we do, but how about we do this for everything, for your whole day? So you want to think about the fact that what you do and thefeeling you have with your task usually comes from whatyou do before that.
So if you have a task before and then you do something after and you don't want to do that thing after, it's because of what you've done before.
So you need to go back and try to create systemsthat work for you, things that you do on a daily basis, one after the other that make sense and invite you to do things better.
So for example, think about the fact that, let's say you wake up and thenstraight away you go to work.
Now maybe you're not in themood to go to work first, you have to do something before that.
Or maybe you wanna writesomething for your boss or at work or whatever, but before that, you were on the phone with your friend.
Maybe it's not a good fit, maybe it doesn't fit properly.
Or let's say you tradebut then you were having a conversation about anything else before and then you go to trade.
Maybe that's not a good fit, maybe you have to dosomething before that.
And so, for me, usually it's like if I wantto go into trading mode, I have to listen tosomething trading-wise, maybe an interview, maybesomething I've seen before, a video to get me in the mood and then I can trade properly.
Or maybe if I wanna talk to people or record videos, I have totalk to people before that.
And so all these things, the system step-by-step, have to be done properly so that you have your best routine ever.
If you don't have this properly in place, then you're always gonna be facing your environmentand never really proactive and ready a system like that in your life.
I think it makes a bit difference.
See, one thing about those systems and those day-to-dayaction, one after the other, try to improve this over time.
Maybe first it doesn't work, maybe you have an issue and then you find an issue.
What is it in my routineat home that doesn't work? Then you can adjust that, so make a system that'sgonna be working for that and you adjust it over time.
So your system isn'treally perfect at first, same thing as the trading system, but over time you makeit better and better and that's where you'rereally gonna see the progress and you're happier to work at home, without having any issuewith discipline or focus, because these things come over time, once you do the basics right and the systems and the balances.
So I hope that made sense, these are simple tips, but I feel people will don'ttalk about them online at all and so, I want to share these with you, apply them, if you want them in your life and in your daily routine at home.
