Hello! Georgina here.
And I guess this isFree Reading.
Tuesday?!?! I know: Free Readings are usually onWednesday, but I received an interesting question.
We were talking about Lenormandcards and Matt was asking at my Oracle Club group on Facebook about travelduring the time of COVID-19 to see his main squeeze.
And the issue here is thattravel is going to be very difficult right now because of the restrictionsand the big virus! Oh this by the way is my cat, Kaylee.
HeyKaylee! Say hi! Say hi, Kaylee! She don't care.
Okay!Anyway Matt is talking about a male partner, so I've removed the Lady cardfrom my Old Style Lenormand for this reading and have instead brought out thesecondary Man card.
So this one with the crown above will represent Matt and theman card without a crown will represent his partner.
No! Kaylee, no! That's notappropriate! Oh dear.
Anyway, I'm gonna shuffle thecards now.
The question is about travel, so we'll be using the Ship card andwe're gonna plant this before I do all the other cards.
I'm gonna plant this inthe middle of the spread.
And it's going to be a 3×3 (or Portrait) BoxSpread.
Okay? And we just start shuffling! Talk amongst yourselves while I do this.
It's very rare that you ever see meshuffle live on camera.
To get a really good randomization of the cards youshould shuffle at least seven times.
And I will even shuffle upside down so Idon't get cards that are all curved.
Matt has already done a reading for himselftwice now and in both readings the Fox came up.
And I said oh no.
Whenever I seethe Fox keep coming up over and over again it's like Ah! Something's off, something's wrong.
Just put the cards away, change to adifferent Oracle, or ask a better question! A little bit of overhand (shuffling).
Now okay! Thatseems nice and mixed! So I cut twice to the left.
And I also lay out the 3×3 Box Spread, the Portrait Spread, a little differently.
I don't go across in rows.
I do it a littlebit differently I go to the left, and above, and to the right, and below.
Andthen I fill in the corners.
Why do it, why do I do it this way? That is sothat the top cards are directly surrounding like a cross around thecenter card.
And then the last card of the spread is always (the Tower down herein the corner) will be the ninth card.
The cat, once again, has decided to take this opportunity tolick a part of the body that is not appropriate.
You're gonna get medemonetised, kitty! Anyway so what do we have here? And I'll bring this a little bit closer and we'll just hover over the spread.
Wehave in the center, Ship because it's going to be a question about travel.
Iselected that beforehand.
And then our rows are Cloud – Garden – Sun.
That would bea murky situation, Garden (a public place), and the Sun or success! So.
Kaylee! So amurky situation.
Well Matt's been feeling like he's not getting any good straightanswers about his travel.
So that makes sense that the spread would start offthat way.
And we're talking about travel, going outin public.
So Garden makes sense.
And the Sun of course, he wants tohave success! He wants to go out, he wants to go meet his friends.
So that would bepretty much all of us right now.
Second row here: Fish – Ship – Cross.
Fish, that meansmoney, but it can also mean business or particularly the way you earn yourmoney.
But it also (Fish) is considered the greater luck card.
It's avery lucky or fortunate card.
And because the question is not about money orfinances it is all supposed to be in relationship to the Ship we should belooking at this card NOT with its *primary* meaning, but with one of its*secondary* meanings.
Meaning to be “great success, great luck.
” So great luckregarding travel, but a burden/worries (Cross).
This is not boding well, Matt.
I'm so sorry.
And then our final row.
Oooh! We have Matt, because this is the Manwith a crown.
So this indicates Matt.
The Stars, which is ambitions, what one wantsto do, what one desires to do.
And the Tower which is distance.
Which is alsoinstitutions, but in this case we're talking about travel, so we need torelate all of the cards back to the theme of travel.
So in this case theTower is not about an institution, it's about a remote area, distance, distant travel.
Matt aspires to go on a travel for over a great distance of somesort.
He is separated from someone significant! So we already figured thatone out! So high up here: Murky, going out into public, hopes for success.
Thereality: This is going to be pre.
I selected this card ahead of time so Ican't really look at it as being random, but I can read the two cards to eitherside.
So hoping great for success or luck, but it brings a burden (The Cross is the card of great sorrow!).
And then downhere: Matt aspires to go a long distance, travel! Let's look at the columns.
Remember, in Lenormand, general rules apply: Each card, we read them from leftto right.
Each card giving us more information about the card thatpreceded it.
And we also go from top to bottom.
And the cards above shine down(literally in the case of the Sun!) shine down on the cards below.
They bear downin their meanings on the cards underneath.
So it is very nice that thereis the Sun up here that shines down.
And what it's highlighting is being aware, shining down, highlighting the fact that this Cross! There is some burdens andrisks and luggage and something you already know you shouldn't be doing! Andyou are heading towards, from your high hopes, to sorrow, over a distance.
Dude!Don't go traveling! This is a really bad time to go traveling! Public place, travel, aspire.
yeah it would be so much better if the aspiration we're above, but it'snot, it's underneath.
A public place, traveling.
It's what you want.
I even love that this is looks like a compass here, but ew.
At least we didn'tget the Fox but we did get Cross and I'm afraid the cards are once again — thirdtime you've asked this question — third time is still saying no, this is reallynot a good time to travel.
The good news, if there's any good news here, is thatthe Clouds start dark and get lighter.
So you will be getting more information.
Maybe a better way to understand and recognize the risks that may be involved.
And the Tower, the remoteness you can look at the Knight's move.
And if youdon't know what a Knight's move is, you can do it here like so with yarn.
Twoacross and one up.
So the Fish.
The Tower is knighted.
The Fish knights the Tower.
Andin the other direction you have Tower — Sun going all the way up to — Garden.
TheL-shape going up in the other direction from Tower to Garden.
So I would say:Success in a public place over a long distance.
Yeah I have a feeling thatthat Special Someone misses you very much and wishes you love and success.
And would love to see you, too, but this is just not a good time to be traveling.
I mean this is better than seeing the Fox card or the Scythe (which wouldbe an accident!) or the Snake which I know has also appeared in your prior readings(indicating danger).
If you really want to do this, no one can tell you not to, butthe cards say if you do so it will bring misery and sorrow to you.
The Tower alsocoincidentally, can indicate a older person, so if there is a risk of an olderperson, you're bringing sorrow down on the head of this other older person.
So Iwould caution against going on travel.
Anyway that's my quick take.
The cat sayshi.
Kaylee, say hi! (Silence from the cat.
