Did you know that you havean enemy that wants you ignorant of your rightsand privileges and Jesus so that he cansteal your stuff.
Today we're going to talkabout how to arrest the enemy so that you canreceive all that Jesus pay for on the cross.
Don't touch that but we'llbe right back on life more abundantly.

[Music] Welcome to life moreabundantly beloved this Jehovah Dr.
Kenan bridgesand I'm very excited that you are with us today.
Today we're going tobe talking about a very important subject and thatis storming the gates of the enemy.
You may wonder what do Imean by that I'll explain it during thismessage listen.
What if what if I told youI want you to imagine for a moment that someonekidnaps a family they kidnap your children theykidnap everyone that you held dear your wife youryour your dog your remote control everything thatyou love and they take it hostage.
What would you do.
Most people within reasonwould stop at nothing to retrieve their stuff.
Now I want you to imaginethat the enemy of your soul has stolenthings from you.
Blessings inheritancesfavor healing.
What have I told you thatthe enemy was holding your stuff hostage.
You see many people areignorant of the enemy's devices.
In fact the scripture saysin Ephesians chapter 6 it says that we do notwrestle against flesh and blood but againstprincipalities and powers against the rulers of thedarkness of this world.
Ironically the worddarkness doesn't mean not having thelight on that word.
Darkness is the Greek wordscuttles and it literally means ignorance orspiritual blindness in other words the enemywants to keep you ignore it.
Why.
Because he knows thatyou can not contend for things.
You ignore it if you can'tresist an enemy that you are ignorant of.
You cannot receiveblessings that you don't know you even have andso many of us are going through this change inthis challenge because we don't understand that Godhas things for us that he wants us tofight for beloved.
He wants you to contendfor the promises of God.
You know one of theinteresting misconceptions is the idea and it's veryyou know wrongly quoted.
People quote it wronglyall the time they say Christ will build thischurch and the gates of hell will not prevailagainst it and they're saying the right thing.
But the understandingbehind it is wrong.
He never said that hewould bill his church.
And that the host of hellwill not prevail against the gates of the church.
He never said that.
He never said that thegates of the church would remain strong.
He never said that.
He said that the gatesof hell would not prevail against the church.
What does that mean.
It's a totally differentimagery a totally different perspective.
It's not about the churchbeing stationary and waiting for the enemyto come to us and try to resist him and sayoh no stand back.
Enemy No no no no.
What he literally meansis what Jesus said in the Gospels when he said thisThe Kingdom of God suffers violence and theviolent take it by force.
You know it was thescholar Ellicott who once said in his commentarythat that is literally a word picture of acity being under siege.
In other words believe itwhen we got born again and the Spirit of God cameinto us we were given a mandate to take by forceeverything that God has promised us.
So when the Bible talksabout the gates of hell not prevailing againstyou is only saying that we will go intothe enemy's camp.
We will barge into theenemy's territory we will intrude into every spacethat has been occupied by the enemy and we willget our stuff back.
You see this imagery inthe book of Samuel when David was literallyfrustrated and he was discouraged because thePhilistines literally came and they stolehis entire camp.
They burned it with fire.
His wife was abducted hischildren were kidnapped and they were sofrustrated that his faithful and loyal menwere considering stoning David.
I mean talkabout a bad day.
And the Bible says thatDavid inquired of the Lord.
He went before God and hesaid God what shall I do shall I pursue them.
Shall I.
Overtake them and Godspoke to David and said You shall pursue you shallovertake and you shall recover all.
I mean to say that thereare some things in your life that youneed to recover.
You may say well but Ithought God's going to do that.
No nope nope.
You have to recover.
Why.
Because he's given youthe authority he said over there.
In Luke chapter timbers 19behold I give you power.
I give you authority totread on serpents and scorpions and over allthe power of the enemy and nothing shall byany means hardship.
We don't understandthat we have received a mandate.
I don't know about you butI want everything that God has for me.
I want every blessing Iwant every miracle I want every healingthat Jesus paid for.
Can you imagine that youfind out that your parents bought something for you.
They put it onwhat we call layaway.
If I know about layawaythey put something on layaway for you andthey pay it up in full.
And it's everythingthat you wanted.
It's paid in full.
All you have to do is goto the counter and get it.
Could you imagine going tothe counter and some might saying you know I don'twant to give this to you.
Would you leave thestore crying and say here.
[whining] You know, I Jus, Itried I went to the store and I Jus-Jus, did -and that guyand this-this [mumbling] No you wouldn't do thatyou would demand your stuff listen understandsomething This is important to understandthe Kingdom of God is not a place of cowardice.
The Kingdom of God isnot a place of timidity.
The Bible saysand second Timothy.
God's not giving youthe spirit of fear.
That's the word cowardiceor timidity but a spirit of power a spirit oflove and of a sound mind.
I believe that there aremillions of Christians all over the world who arefrustrated because they're not experiencing the kindof life that Jesus paid for.
Whatever I chose a belovedthat shoe have a part to play in the lifethat you enjoy.
You have a part to playin the kind of inheritance that you receive.
This is so key.
Now I want you tounderstand this.
The word gay actuallymeans that it's a place of detention.
When Jesus said in Matthew16 at the gates of hell shall not prevail itliterally means that the detentioncenter of the enemy.
In other words Satan issomeone who holds things in detention.
He's a thief.
He's a thief and hisassignment is to steal from you.
Jesus said over there inJohn Chapter 10 verse ten he says the thief comesnot before to steal kill and destroy but I am comeat you might have life and have it more abundantlywhich means that the revelation of the truth ofGod's Word is the key to receiving yourinheritance.
Can I say that one moretime the revelation of the truth of God's Word isthe key to receiving your inheritance.
You cannot contendfor that which you are ignorant of.
You cannot contendfor that which you are ignorant of andthis is the season.
I believe with all ofmy heart for the body of Christ to contend forher prophetic promises.
There's some things thatGod has promised you he told you that yourchildren would be safe.
He tells you that yourbody would be healed.
He told you that youwould be debt free.
He tells you that yourwhole community will come to know Jesus is Lord.
Are you contending for it.
Are you willing to pressinto the camp of the enemy and to receive what thedevil has stolen from generations.
There's somebody watchingme right now and there's been a spirit ofpoverty in your bloodline.
And the enemy hasstolen things from your grandparents and yourgreat grandparents and your greatgreat grandparents.
But I'm glad to tell youtoday I'm excited for you to know today that theBible says that the thief when he is caughtmust return seven fold.
I got good news for you ifyou can catch the thief.
You'll receive everythingthat Jesus paid for with interest accrued.
This is your greatesthour your greatest season.
But it's only available tothose with bold tenacious faith those who will notcower in the face of the enemy.
You know the Bible saysthat the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking whomhe may devour you know.
We have a saying backwhere I'm from in the country we say that thebark is bigger than the bite.
What does that mean.
The devil makes a lot ofnoise but the lion of the tribe of Judah isgreater than the enemy.
And it's time for you andI to begin to receive what the father has graciouslyprepared for us.
This is your hour.
This is your seasonand this is your moment.
It's time for the body ofChrist to begin to enter into therevelation of who we are.
Now there's moreinformation I want to share with you injust a little bit.
But before we do that Iwant to go a little bit deeper into this teaching.
But before we do that Iwould really like to know this question.
What do you wantrestored in your life.
We'll hear more fromyou in just a moment.

I don't need thatrestored.

Man: Maybe tolike my positivity kind of losing it bit morepositivity from my friends and family andmy young people.
Oh restored in mylife would be some of my health.
I don't have the health Iused to and lost family members.
You know people whohave passed away.
Well I'd like to havemy freedom restored .
If I had been convicted ofa felony then you know it makes it verydifficult to get a job.
I don't know, like stuff lately It's been like a bunchof like self-confidence I feel like I've kind oflost that a bit like I just got of areally bad relationship.
So I'm kind of learninglike how to how to kind of build myself up again.
But I feel like that'slike one of the biggest things I want like.
Like self -confidence again.
Welcome back.
Friends I hope youwere enlightened by that information and of courseyou're watching life more abundantly.
Earlier we were talkingabout the fact that God has called us to stormthe gates of the enemy.
And I alluded a little bitto this whole concept of arrested destiny.
What isarrested of destiny.
I'll talk about thatbecause this is so important.
First of allwhat is destiny.
You are destined to becomeform to the image of Jesus.
Your destiny isyour destination.
Now an example of thiswould be imagine flying on a plane and your plane hasan itinerary it has it has a route and a destinationthat was already preplanned beforeyou bought the ticket.
And when you buy theticket you are buying in to the itinerary andthe destination of that particular airline.
In other words if I'mgoing from here to Atlanta that's my destination.
Now oftentimes if youfly often like me you will have situations where yourflight is either canceled or it is delayed.
And when your flight isdelayed or canceled it can hinder you reachingyour destination.
The same is true in thespiritual realm beloved.
We have a destiny in God.
In other words he has aset destination that he has pre planned before thefoundation of the world.
You have been predestination it.
That's what it meansyour destiny has been prearranged or yourdestination has been prearranged by God.
And our ultimatedestination is to become form to the image ofJesus and to walk in our inheritance as sons anddaughters of the most high God.
But we have an adversaryand this adversary the devil.
Goes aboutseeking to devour.
He goes about trying toput hindrances delays and obstructions inyour destiny.
You know there are manypeople that I talk to on a regular basis and theyexperience this this phenomenon called arresteddeaths in other words have ever felt like you shouldhave been further along in your life.
Have you ever felt likeyou know what by now I should have achievedthese particular goals.
And yet you feel asense of stagnation.
You feel a sense of of alack or things are not moving at the speed andthe pace that they should.
Maybe by now youshould have been married.
Maybe by now you shouldhave had children maybe by now your ministry shouldhave taken off the ground and yet you feel that thatthings are not moving the way they should and it'sbeen years and years and years.
You my friend may besuffering from arrested destiny and this is whatthe Bible is talking about when it talks aboutthe gates of hell not prevailing.
You see you mustunderstand I said earlier that Satan has the legalright to operate in the area of your ignorance.
The Bible says and Hosannafor sex that my people are destroyed for alack of knowledge.
My people are destroyedfor lack of knowledge.
You know the devilloves anonymity.
He loves secrecy.
He loves darkness.
If he can hide in thedarkness he is empowered by such darkness.
So the only way to exposethe enemy is with the light.
What is the light.
Jesus told us where thelight is in John Chapter 8 verse 32.
He said if you continuein my word you shall be my disciples indeed and youwill know the truth and the truth willmake you free.
You see the truth destroysand demolishes the power of bondage every area ofbondage in a believer's life isconnected to a lie.
They have believedeither about God or about themselves.
So the key to releasingthe blessing and releasing the inheritance andreleasing everything that's been arrested isthe revelation of the truth.
The Bible says his word isa lamp onto my feet and a light unto my path.
You see when therevelation of God's truth about who we are and whatwe have receive comes to our spirit man itilluminates our pathway.
We get a revelation ofwhat God has intended for our lives.
I'll never forget the timeI was scheduled to go to California and preach.
And on this particularjourney when I got to the airport I had somewhat ofa challenge with one of the gate agents so one ofthe agents at the ticket counter and they weregoing back and forth with me.
It was really bad.
I mean we're going backand forth and I remained a Christian.
I was saved and sanctifiedand follow the Holy Ghost.
I didn't doanything bad but it was a misunderstanding.
And the man literallywas so belligerent that he called the police onme in the airport.
Here I am a preacherwhere my Bible in my hand talking to the police withtheir hands on their guns threatening to keepme off the flight.
And I thought this isabsolutely ridiculous.
I've never listened.
I can't even bust a grape.
That's how gentle I am.
And yet this situation wascoming and I knew it was from the enemy.
And so I began todiffuse the situation.
But the problem was Imissed my flight and I had to take another flight.
Now if I was late on thisflight it could jeopardize the conference that I hadin California and I had to be on time and thisflight put me a little bit behind.
So I had to go to DenverColorado and when I got to Denver Colorado thiswas my connecting point.
I had to walk through ninethe terminals nine the terminals on footto get to my plane.
Now you can imaginethe frustration you can imagine the irritation.
And so I walkthrough 90 terminals.
Well guess what.
The most wonderful thinghappened when I got to my terminal.
My plane had alreadyboarded the doors were already close and theterminal was totally empty.
I go to the gate agentand I said you know what.
I need to get on thisflight he says I'm sorry sir there'snothing I can do.
They're alreadyon the tarmac.
The door is sealed andthe plane door is closed.
And based on FAAregulations you are not allowed by law toenter this plane.
I said No no no youdon't understand sir.
I have to geton this plane.
I need a miracle now.
And he said NoI don't know.
I said Listen Ineed a miracle now.
And he said No Ineed a miracle now.
And the guy said Welllet me see what I can do.
He calls the pilot fromthe terminal and the pilot says what's going on.
He says Can you take onemore and then go back and forth.
I don't knowexactly what they say.
And he says he sayscall me right now.
We go out the side of theterminal onto the tarmac and he beats on theside of the plane.
So that they can openthe door and let me in.
Now guess what.
There were two amazingthings that happen.
Everybody on theplane was mad except me.
I was the happiest guy inthe world and I made it to my destination.
Why.
Because I understandthe Bible says that faith comes by hearing andhearing by the word of God.
I knew it was God'swill for me to be at the destination.
Therefore I would notaccept any hindrance to getting to my destination.
So you had tobe the same way.
You have to be bold.
You have to be teenagersto tell the devil you know what you are not going tokeep this out of my life.
I'm supposed to have thisI'm supposed to walk in this.
You ought to be likeDaniel who went before God and said You know what Godyou promised us that we would be out ofcaptivity after 70 years.
And it's beyondthat time now.
And Lord I'm calling onyou and the Bible says that something wasreleased in the realm of the spirit.
You see the minute youplace a demand on the power and the promises andthe purposes of God is the moment you will experiencea release of what the enemy has been holding upin your life no demand no deliverance nodemand no Deliverance.
You see yourdeliverance will come.
The release of yourbreakthrough will come when you place a demand onheaven and you say God you say in this generationwe don't need cowardly Christians.
Like have you ever seenthe film The Wizard of Oz or the Cowardly Lion.
Who who needed courage.
He was looking for courageand many Christians alive.
They like the CowardlyLion and they're saying God if it be a holy willwe've got if you want me to have it I'll have it.
If you don't want me tohave it how would have it God willing it.
No no no no no.
That's wrong theology.
There there's certainthings you will never receive.
And so you put into yourplace a divine insistence on that thing he oughtto be bold and say God.
You promised mychildren would be saved.
You promised me thatI would be healed.
Therefore thiscancer can't take me out.
Listen I'm not going todie before my time but I'm going to live.
The Bible says I will liveand not die and declare the works ofthe Lord beloved.
This is your time.
This is your season.
This is your moment.
But you have to seize it.
And I believe God israising up a prophetic generation who will seeand seize their destiny.
Listen don't goanywhere but love it.
We will be rightback after this.
On life more abundantly.

I feel like I've not beenable to move forward in my life.
I feel likeeverything I try to do.
There's there's ahindrance maybe everything I try to do is I got totake one step forward and two steps backward.
Can you identifywith that if you can't.
I want to pray with youbecause I believe that God is raising up a generationwho know they are and will have the bold audaciousfaith to receive what God has for them.
Would you pray with mebeloved that you will be able to walk in yourdestiny father right now in Jesus name.
I pray for those watchingme in the name of Jesus who are in aplace of transition.
Maybe those who arefacing stagnation and God.
Right now I declare arelease of everything that the enemy hasstolen from them.
That from today forwardthey will be able by faith to go before the courtroom of the most high.
End to receive divinesettlements that will release their things.
I decree right now thatthe enemy has to let go of your stuff by theblood of Jesus.
I decree right now thatthe plan and the devious and dubious plot of theenemy is exposed so that whatever the enemy hasbeen doing in darkness is brought to the light rightnow in the name of Jesus from today forward.
You will walk in yourinheritance from today forward you will live outthe full meaning of the scripture the Kingdom ofGod suffers violence and the violenttake it by force.
In Jesus name a manuntil next time beloved.
