like these blocks keep coming up like you want tomake progress but these things keep happening and that's because when we'reinside of our own mind and the rules and the beliefs we set up they keep us inprison and the key is for us to first off know that we're in it so this isn'tsomething that it's like this this is something that the more awareness wehave the better now in reality in general something I believe that happensin the world is in a way there is an intention for people to influence yourown mind part of that could be the media that you watch because when you watchcertain media it keeps doing a fear in anger mentality which means that thenyou're so busy doing this all this other stuff that you may not question wonderwhy might what's my purpose here why am I really here what's really going on inthe world the question for us to think for ourselves is something where we'retold what to think and what happens is when we're keptwithin a certain belief system we feel imprisoned we don't actually reach ourfull potential and any person that you've seen that's acquired a certainamount of success anybody that is that has really accomplished somethingthat you admire what they've had to do what they had done is go beyond theirbelief system they've had to break out of the shell of the way people assumethem to be and they'd have to they had to break out of their own identity theway that they saw themselves now this is what happened to me the key first offyou know I don't want to spoil I don't wanna keep the video going all the wayto the end and say by the way the key is but it's a certain type of meditationit's meditation that changes your identity core beliefs about who you areI actually stumbled across this when I was back in the day maybe you've heardpart of my story I'm gonna share a little bit of it right now so that youcan see what I mean but what it what happened back in theday this is the IB this is the key it's the labels that I had that defined to meI as many of you know between 7 and 15 years oldAran's told the story again between 7 and 15 years old I had that of a nextstep mom that was in my life I was very controlling my brother and I had nofreedom whatsoever many times we were just working outside we weren't allowedto have friends we weren't allowed to go to school act we get school activitiestaken away from us we get books taken away from us I think maybe that's why Iliked Harry Potter so much that was my escape that was my escape a what wouldhappen is that may meet that ended up making me feel unworthy after my daddivorced when I was 15 my brother and I have a whole new world we're label tohave friends were able to watch TV were able to eat enough food because we werevery malnutrition before that we were only given a bowl of cereal the morningTV dinner at night both very very skinny and then would happen it's 15 years oldcomes around we have all this freedom yayhowever we both still felt unworthy then what happened is I had all this energybecause now I'm allowed to be myself and then people would tell me that I hadADHD so I go to a doctor that gave me adderall the prescription drug for it sothat trouble focusing and I started to label myself and I started to think ofmyself as somebody that had trouble focusing so I worked at Nordstrom's andwomen's shoes there was like a lot of jokes about how just how much energy Ihad in stuff and it was a point to where Ifelt unworthy I felt lonely I felt like I couldn't necessarily you know I keptattracting woman into my life that were very controlling now listen to this aswell our mind will play patterns on us where's that word patterns so eventhough my ex stepmom was no longer my life here listen to how weird this isthis is how the prisoner of the mind workswhen my dad divorced my ex stepmom when I was 15 years old I remember that I hadall this freedom all the sudden you want to know what went through my mind thisis scary this is scary to have this much freedom because I wasn't you I was usedto having to to like sneak food I was used to having like put in this littlebox of not able to like sneak watching TV and stuff and all of a sudden I hadall this freedom and it felt weird I felt like there was like I think what Icreated was certainty so I see how some people make it out of abusiverelationships and want to go back to it because it's what they know it's whatit's what feels safe even though it's not safe and it sounds crazy but I Iremember feeling that at that place well guess what happened no worries I endedup attracting woman is always woman came into my life that would try to controlme it was an ex-girlfriend right when I got out of that relationship with herwhen I out of I couldn't have to see my ex 10th mom anymore I then had agirlfriend that was trying to control me that didn't like how loud I was she doesthere are so many things that I had to be a certain way and then I broke upwith her and then I got transferred to another department in women's shoes atNordstrom's and I went from one woman shoe to a better woman shoe departmentwith a more expensive price point because it was sales commission but themanager of that department was exactly like my ex stepmom it was crazy howsimilar she was and then I became aware of this I started to let go of theselabels and to unrep them and once I learned meditation and I learned how tolet go of those identity beliefs guess what happened that manager got firedwithin two weeks I've never had to deal with someone in my life again any womanor man that tries to control me and it's because now I have dropped that for mysense of identity even just I realized even looking back in high school infreshman year I felt and saw myself as dumbnot dumb an average student I saw myself as an average – I just didn't think Iwas smart I was getting C's then one time there was this one situation whereI did good on this test and these these these people were talking about it saidwell you're smart you did good in this one test and I started to in the momentsee myself as smart from that point going forwardI went from C's to getting B's and A's consistently at a 3.
8 GPA in high schooland I took like honors classes and stuff not trying to brag or anything but thatis I just changed my identity I changed my identity beliefs when we change ouridentity beliefs it we become free these little beliefs these little labelsimprison us when I learned meditation I used to tell myself a story I can'tmeditate I have ADHD but I said you know what I'm gonna learn how to observe mythoughts I'm gonna do this no matter what and guess what happened after abouttwo three or four days of doing it it completely changed the way that I felt Ididn't redefine myself I became aware of all these beliefs I had about myself andstarted to let them go I realized I just agreed to them at a certain point in mylife so if somebody calls you shy you can challenge that belief it'll be asource of yeah maybe I'm a little bit of introvert but I'm not afraid to talk topeople but at the same time maybe it's somebody told you something about a youknow you're just you're your body or something like that or how you look andyou just agree to it but if you were to challenge it and then you would start tofeel different about yourself and that's when you start to become free the key tobeing free is realizing that these labels are not you you may think thatyou may you may have these labels but they're not who you are so that's thekey to this now the I be the identity beliefs are what keep you trapped withinthe prison of your own mind the key to being free is learning to observe themand to challenge them and to get to a level of letting them go and realizingwho you really are that's the key and these there's many rules we'll havewe'll have rules that are kind of like beliefs that say I will feel happy whenX Y Z I feel happy when I have this the thing isis if we play according to those rules we're siphoning our own happiness whycan't we be happy in the present moment I will know someone loves me when theytext me everyday and they tell me how amazing I am you see what I mean whathappens is these these rules make it so we don't feels love as often and a lotof times those rules are based on external things which means we're tryingto control the outside if the rules were based on just things like I choose tofeel love when I focus on something I'm grateful for all my goodness I could dothat all day long I choose to feel worthy when I am just recognizingsomething within myself oh that's internal I can do that all the time it'seasy to do but we make a lot of things very hard because we make them and wemake rules that are very detailed and specific I will know I am loved whenthis person TExES me hey hey good she did this how are you like we want to betalked about a kid or something so the key to this is breaking out of thosewalls becoming aware of your self-image I've realized and I learned this what Ilearned this meditation stuff I was working at nine-to-five job what Ilearned that guess what happened I was working that night at fab job I sawmyself as just an average employee I was we go it every day and it was salescommission saw a woman shoes you know slang in those shoes and then every dayyou go and you see the top salespeople from the day before you see like thelist of the people that were top salespeople the TV latthat didn't do so well and then it was like a comparison factor every day but Irealized I just see myself as the kind of person that comes in and is always inthe middle I was always in the middle guess what I didn't did I saw myself asa top salesperson I changed my self-image I then went in and I startedacting that way and guess what happened from that point going forward I was atthe top oh I did was changed my self-image because our self-image theway we see ourselves is what we project out and it's what we act in according toso if you see yourself as a top salesperson you begin to act accordingto it you begin to model it your thoughts your feelings and your emotionsbegin to link up to it so the key to this is understanding that when youchange your beliefs you change your whole life your beliefs cause yourfeelings your whatever you believe to be true then causes a feeling a belief islike a mean and a belief is like a thought apatterned thought in a way that causes you in a fuel a certain way so you sayoh this like if you were to break up with someone or someone to break up withyou the meaning you gave that would be the feeling you felt if you feel goodabout that like hey I got freedom now then you'd feel great if you felt likeno this is my one chance at love I don't feel good it's because the belief iscausing that but if you change the meaning the belief it changes how youfeel that's the cool thing and then you got the feeling it's like the idea of arainy day is a neutral idea but your meaning you give it's whether you giveit a positive thing with it or not so it's your meaning it's up to you youchoose it's just that many times we chose in these meanings based onagreeing with society or green or agreeing to something someone told usgrowing up watching 100 Disney movies Charlie but the truth is there's you canfree yourself from that belief system and then the feelings and when you're ina certain state then you have thoughts that are equal to it that's why TonyRobbins teaches change your state change your life because when you change yourstate you didn't change how you think that's why feelings comes beforethoughts even though people mostly know they'll also come before that iffeelings then thoughts then actions then you take actions then you
