I have been mentioning that really This is the right time to pick up that one thing that you've been wanting to do whether that's learning how to cartwheel death-drop draw paint doll repaint and Also make your own website before anything else.

Like especially that drag and drop feature That's like something that changed my mind when I was creating my Myspace with Wix before it it Blew my mind actually not changed because if you guys had Myspace before you know that HTML editor it's not fun, you know, I transform my Myspace with Wix and it was fabulous personally, I've been wanting to make another website to isolate the doll repaint process and also the essential materials I'm doing that because I really got carried away with my previous website that I made with Wix.
It was just a little busy You know, it was kitschy .
Like every single page was like a moving image a moving picture.
There's a music the point of that previous website was just I've been wanted to make kind of like a back to basics series here on my channel Which pretty much just highlights like the basics of doll Repainting kind of like a beginner's guide and also the essential Materials and so I wanted to create this website.
So That it goes kind of like hand in hand with that series when it comes and also for those who are newcomers So yeah, I want to make that series and yes i'm putting it out there so I can hold myself accountable in the near future hopefully We'll see so if you've been wanting to create that professional website whether you're an artist looking for a portfolio Outlet if you want a blog if you want to showcase your online store and so much more There's a lot of options I hope this tutorial will aid you in the process of making that website and also showcase most of Wix's advanced and robust tools to start your very own professional website with Wix go to Wix.

This is where we create our magical website.
I'm really excited I love doing these so let's go ahead and do that When you create your website, you will be prompt to this section.
It's asking you what kind of website do you want to create? so like I said if you guys are into Starting a business if you want a blog a resume if you just want to create a website for yourself here, we have it It's not locked into it.
It's just kind of to provide you a better template for your desires.
I May want to do just because it doesn't literally have the art or Crafts, we may want to do others or maybe designer maybe designer.
Let's see Ok, so right now it's asking choose how you want to create your website.
So we have the ADI Option I like to do things my way so here it's create your website with the Wix Editor and You pretty much start with a template and then you make it your own with easy drag-and-drop and a 1000s of the design features So we'll do that.
I Like starting from the base, you know So here are the options.
So like I said you this is you're not locked into it This is where you shop around for your templates You can definitely start with a blank one, but I like seeing what could have been you know what I mean? Let's do that.
Let's do fashion design.
Let's see what's in fashion design.
Oh, That's cool, I love that I'm intrigued by this this one is really really cool actually Okay, we'll leave that open That's an option.
Let's do oh that's stunning.
Oh my goodness If you guys know Scotch and Soda the brand the fashion brand It's this entire thing is giving me Scotch and Soda look at the birds.
Oh, wow.
The birds are everything Okay, that's stunning.
So I think I'll be using at this template It is called a small brand template as you can see over here and it's really great because it already has these Menus kind of already set up ready for me to customize and go crazy with so let's get into editing So we are here in the editing stage as you can see I am able to click things You guys will see when I click stuff I can drag and drop stuff anywhere The sides over here.
It's kind of like a guideline So if you put stuff kind of like in the sides, it will not show up in the actual Website, so that is a guideline.
You kind of want to stay inside.
I'm sure it's different per computer But yeah for this overall theme I wanted I want the intro of this website to kind of have a focal point To really welcome everyone so I think I'm gonna go ahead and change this So I actually want to obviously change the background and these are like the moving backgrounds that I kind of got carried away with from my previous website that I made like literally every page was like a different moving background like a video background And I feel like I mean it caused my Wi-Fi to like go crazy Because it was just a lot going on.
You know, I got a little carried away with all of these options.
Look at these Oh my God, look at this rainbow with the clouds the leva lump, lava lamp Carwash like wow, it's just there's a lot of options you guys Oh, Light spots I kind of like this this is very like Bokeh like effect I'm interested in this I think this is it.
Let me go ahead and play around with this Ok, so I think this is it look at that I added some Tint to it so that it's a little more pink Like peachy pink because earlier it was just very coral.
So I added some pink in there And now this one it is a video, but I think I need to change it I kind of want a picture on this one.
So I think I have to delete this one So let's go ahead and add an image.
Oh, they have a gallery option.
That's cool You have like a bunch of pictures you want to show And also Wix does provide images that you can use depending on the topic? They have shutterstock as well a lot of a lot of them recent events But I actually want to go ahead and give it a tweevils Welcome for everyone.
Yes kirstee and kaycee are here to welcome you guys to the new website So one thing I love about Wix that I just discovered actually because I don't think this was here when I was making the other website, or maybe it was um But you can literally edit photos here like brightness contrast exposure A vignette a white vignette.
That's pretty rare and Animations and all that.
It's just so so cool, and I love it I gave him a little you know, a little filter because why not you can't hurt nothing so we have this for now and just so you guys know it's always good to save.
So there's like save options over here You can actually preview it as you go.
Oh That's oh my god, you guys that's iconic.
Look at that Wow, okay, we have to fix that over there the good part also is you can preview it in mobile in mobile Oh, we gotta fix this part So that's cool and then the menus over here and then we got to change that.
Okay Wow, oh my god Wait, huh? Meet your site on mobile What is this? You can now start customizing in here changes won't affect how your oh my goodness Wait a minute oh Wait What? Okay, they did not have this before.
I don't think that's cool.
Okay.
So now Editing this is separate.
Oh, that's convenient, oh my goodness.
Well, there's that let's go back to the Desk top and now I do want to go ahead and change this menu this existing menu.
It's a really good base already I did delete some stuff over here because I only need homepage materials doll repaints and then contact and the good part is you can actually obviously assign the page with each menu So I actually kind of figured something out I kind of oh my god it's so cute I mean not a lot of changed but boom Hextian here.
I'm bringing you this website blah blah blah so far.
That's what we have So I love that when you can hover over the image and it just sets you off Because I didn't want to make the front page too busy I want these wants to be the focus the menu, so that's really cool.
So there's that So for now, I'll leave this be let's go and see if we can Start on the other ones the materials Navigate go to materials Boom.
Oh, oh, yeah.
I was like I was waiting for things to happen.
I'm like, oh crap.
There's nothing here Okay, so the good part is you can actually change Backgrounds, but I think I'll keep it the same the other website I made with Wix is definitely like she was busy late.
She had too much fun Playing around with it.
So now I kind of want to add a slideshow type of thing for the materials So I want to show you guys kind of how I would do it.
Um Let me see how many slides we have.
Currently we have three so I'm actually gonna go and manage this.
I don't need I Personally don't want to keep redoing everything that I'm doing.
So I'm gonna actually delete these too We don't really need them and then we'll just duplicate the first one later in terms of aesthetic So first I want to change the image And then I want to change this color oh My god that's iconic Thats cute too, Oh Is there a hexagon I keep making hexagon work and I feel like it's the Mean Girls Moment like stop making hexagon work.
It's not gonna happen Okay, we'll do that So I'm actually gonna put text here and Yeah I'll just put some words here for now and then I'll duplicate it and Show you guys that So let's just go to manage slide and hit Duplicate and so it literally just copies the first slide Which is good, it copies the style that we did the color palette the different logos and the text So now we can just go ahead and change each picture and then each text and stuff like that.
So it's really cool I'm just gonna go ahead and do everything else and I don't want to put you guys up to that I Have finessed all of this so it should be working fine And then boom Doll repaint 101 yes So so so cute if you guys check it out I would say that this um doll repaint section is pretty detailed as much as possible I think I explained mr.
Super clear a little bit better.

I kind of like what's the look? What's the look I Definitely liked one of these maybe maybe I like this, I think So I'm just adding a lot of the socials here some Instagram feed here and there You know just to make it fun.
Oh My god, it's so so cute I believe Yeah, you can change the layout so you can have sliders like that or a collage I kind of like this and then you can change how many images will set up I Like the threes maybe the threes are kind of cool because it offsets these two and I want to add music because it makes music makes the world go around, you know, so let's go to add Here we have the music in theory, maybe I can use I can probably do YouTube video too actually let's go to the preview part.
ah Look at that a little animation for you Over here.
I kind of made this area a little more clear and more bold So people can actually read it I really really do hope that you guys enjoyed the process of creating My website and I hope it's inspired you to create your own website Like I said, it's really really great if you will have a business going on if you have a blog you want to start if You are in an artist and you want professional-looking website You know for the gallery a resume a portfolio and all that jazz.
