This video a part of the proplayerfactory! If you want to see more training videos, tutorials or workouts, check the video description! And now, have fun with the video! Hey guys, my name is Felix and today i am going to show the power shot! So what are we going today exactly? So i'll show you step by step how to get a perfect power shot! Things like how to place the ball The run-up & where to hit the ball for example.
How to hit the ball in the right position How to get the maximum power in your shot Thus the goalkeeper will have almost no chance to save it.
I hope that it'll help you and you can improve this skill as it is a shot you really need to train.
So it won't be something that you'll be able to duplicate right away instead you need to train this shot over and over again.
I hope the videos will help, have fun now! So the first step is how to place the ball correctly.
It's not so unimportant as it sounds at the beginning.
I always place my left feet (standing foot) forward and put the ball next to it.
Thus i'll be able to do the first step backwards with my standing feet.
So that is already the second step, the run-up.
I do always do 4 or 5 steps backwards.
But this is somenthing everyone needs to decide on his own.
It's important that you can put the maximum of power in your shot.
Also the run-up shouldn't be too long as you otherwise loose quickly the focus on the shot.
But too less of run-up means too less power for the shot as well.
That is why 4 or 5 steps are perfect for me.
So step 3 is now how to run-up towards the ball after you found your perfect run-up.
I can just recommend to run-up straight towards the ball without any bow.
As then it is much to difficult to get enough power out of your leg.
Therfore i think it is important to run-up straight ahead.
.
and take the maximum swing of of the leg to get the maximum power in the shot.
So in order to get the shot onto the goal, you need to hit the ball at the right point.
Where should you hit the ball with which part of your foot? I do always want to hit the ball slightly under the centre of the ball.
If you hit the ball in the middle, it won't get enough height.
As the ball is also able to reach a certain hight.
Which of course is going to be more difficult for the keeper.
Which part of my foot do i use? So there isn't this one point of the feet where you need to hit the ball with.
The instep is the most powerful part of the feet and this is the part you need to hit the ball with.
If you hit it here – it's okay, you can also use this part.
More important than the perfect point is to hit the ball with the maximum of your power.
As long as you do that the ball is almost always is going to be dangerous for the keeper.
So the last step is after you've hit the ball to swing through your leg completely.
So that you're able to put all of your power into the shot instead of thinking about to stopping your leg like you do during a knuckleball.
As you need the full power and concentration for the shot itself.
So i've talked enough, time to see it all in one.
Place the ball, your standing feet left or right next to it.
Go backwards 4-5 steps and focus on the ball.
And now run straight towards the ball without any brake.
And put your full power and concentratrion into the shot.
Like this the keeper has no chance to save the ball due to all the power there is in this shot.
Failure analysis.
Hit the ball too centrally.
Leaning too much over the ball.
Hit the ball too high.
Hit the ball too low & leaning too far back.
Hit the ball further left/right.
Just unlucky, keep practicing.
Now some exercise with the aim to improve your technique.
If you really are total beginners, just place the ball 16 meters from goal, without any goalkeeper in the goal, And just concentrate on the technique and to give the ball the full power.
So that you can be safe to hit the ball with all of your power, which isn't as easy as it sounds.
if you're safe with this, you can start to enlarge the distance to 25 meters for example.
And start to try the same from this distance as this already makes a huge difference.
If you've reached this status already as well, then get yourself a keeper for the goal.
This is the last and final step then.
This makes the situation closer to a real match situation.
So do the same as before and if you're still able to score without problems, you've really learned this technique.
That my shot wasn't a goal makes you see that this really is the most difficult exercise.
I hope you liked this video and that I could help you here! As we all know, the situation is really difficult at the moment.
