com and if you're watching this that's great news it means wealready have something in common we both love good barbecue which is perfectbecause my whole goal is to help you make better barbecue so you can feed thepeople you love and become a backyard barbecue hero today we're doing thatwith my garlic butter burger this dish makes four large burgers or eight slidersize burgers today we're doing the four big ones because we're having burgersfor dinner you're gonna need 25 minutes for thisrecipe 10 minutes of prep and 15 minutes outside on the grill this is like anelevated cheeseburger not only we have beautiful grilled all-beef patties we'redoing garlic butter buns a roasted tomato and fresh basil and freshmozzarella cheese the inspiration behind this dish came from my family of coursewe are obsessed with caprese salad and we all love a good cheeseburger so Ifigured why not smash the two together let's get started we're gonna press ourthumbs into the center of each of our burger patties this will help preventthem from swelling in the middle on the grill and give us a more even cook thenwe are simply going to season both sides with our garlic salt and our blackpepper flip your patties over make sure you season while the grills outsidepreheating to about 450 degrees we're gonna prep everything for our burgers sothat when we're out there it's quick and easy to just cook through the wholeprocess at once we're gonna spread garlic butter on both sides of ourhamburger buns now I bought this garlic butter from the store but you can makeyour own just by mixing softened butter minced garlic and some dried basil bunsare prepped burgers are seasoned we're gonna put our cherry tomatoes into ourvegetable grill pan and then we're gonna put our remaining garlic butter just ontop of these tomatoes then as we toss the tomatoes they cook in that butterwe're gonna grab our cutting board our tomatoes a spatula a pair of tongs andto head outside and grill our grill is preheatedlet's get those patties on first I don't know if anything tastes better than aburger cooked over charcoal to be honest so we're going to leave the patties onfor just a couple of minutes when I flip those the first time we're gonna put ourroasted tomatoes on the grill great yep these are ready to flip keep your tonguethat's handy or at least your spatula because you'regonna be stirring these pretty frequently on the grill those look sogood you're getting that nice crispy caramelized outside on those burgers andthey smell amazing you only need to flip your burgers oncebut you want to keep those tomatoes moving constantly the tomatoes are gonnabe done when they start to burst and pop and release their juices and they'llcook down and become really really sweet if the FDA is watching you need to cookyour burgers to 165 degrees for anybody else who is watching we like our burgersa little bit closer to medium so these are at 125 which is rare right now fivemore degrees and we're gonna put that cheese on once our cheese is on we needto toast our buns this is gonna go really fast here we're gonna close the lid for just asecond to really help melt that mozzarella cheese and then from therewe're about ready to assemble these burgers each toasted bun these tomatoesare soft they're gonna be so sweet and they're gonna add some nice juiciness toour burgers each burger gets a big piece of freshbasil these look amazing and the whole family is gonna love them but I gotta behonest with you I think mama needs to sneak a quick bite before I take theminside to feed everybody else look at that hey what are you doing I'll takethat you can take these ones in for the kids but wanna try a bite gosh do we have to share these no okaygood oh my gosh you guys absolutely have to try this recipe dripping down yourhands dripping down my face I want you guys to have this same experience athome when you make these garlic butter burgers and when you do leave acomment let us know using of them even better snap a photo because these areincredibly photogenic sandwiches post them on social media and tag us usingthe hashtag #HeyGrillHey that way we can see it and cheer you on on your ownpath to becoming a backyard barbecue hero take another bite see you guys.
