April 2020 has been a stellar month fornew indie game releases and the week ahead is no exceptionwelcome to get into gaming where in this video we're counting down thebest-looking new indie games launching this week hello before we get to themain selections up first here are a couple of
honorable mentions firstarpund red nautical this comes out on the 29th of April with it being atactical turn-based RPG with many a roguelike element we're looking forwardto seeing how it blends what seems to be an immersive overall storyline setwithin a cruise liner that's been overwhelmed with malevolentmonstrosities all within
what appears to be a cartoony art style with 20 decks onboard to unlock dread nautical set sail this week onto pcs by the epic gamestore as well as it coming to the PlayStation 4 the switch and the Xboxone and the last of this week's honorable mentions level head
comes tosteam the switch and the Xbox one on April 30th with it essentially being acommunity-driven platforming maker it's all about making and sharing yourcreations with others cross platforms with most of those we've seen already Ilike so many of these kind of games as the saying goes well they're
tough asold boots that said we're thinking this one has potential and it's one fans ofthese sort of games should be well worth checking out with this week's honorablementions all taken care of let's crack on into the main course as it were withthe best-looking indie games coming out this
week beginning April 27th first up and at the very cusp of what wemight consider as being Indy Streets of Rage 4 is the sequel to one of the mostloved beat-em-up series of all time and one that comes just over 25 years sinceits last offering this side-scrolling scrapper well
it's easy once more take 2what looks to be a 1980s New York City where you fight off the district's badguys before tackling the area's big old crime boss the developers lizard Cubehave used the animations from the source material to ensure this new game hasevery bit the same feeling
as the original with almost all of thecharacters from the old games being unlockable at some point in the gameStreets of Rage 4 comes out April 30th under steam the PlayStation 4 theNintendo switch and the Xbox one coming out today April 28 the barn finderspilot will offer up a
little well more than little taster into the rest of thegame which is due out in full at some point in the second half of the yearbased on a popular TV show barn finders will see you search for valuable asamongst abandoned old or not so old barns with you
running a family businessby way of selling whatever you're able to salvage with hundreds of items todiscover together with an underlying story and plot systems are interweaveswith the barns locations and their backstories the pilot two barn finderscan be found by way of steam coming up next and while already
out on pcsearlier in the year ministry have broadcast gets a release this week on tothe Nintendo switch while we have played this one from start to finish on the PCwe're thinking the dark hybrid modern mix-up of TV show with its stark moodand message associated with all worlds 1984
but we think it'll find a greathome and be a volume unit shift there on this new platform as for the art styleit reminds us of the likes of Prince of Persia another world and of course themost famous flashback were also huge fans of its underlying narrative and howit
uses dark humor particularly with it blending certain aspects of thingsyou'll find and some of the more manipulative reality TV shows you maywatch as we while away the current day Ministry of broadcast is a delight andhopefully more people will get to see and enjoy it without this week on
theswitch by way of the Nintendo East or yeah it's lord of the manor I knowyou're thinking my dog wouldn't even use that as a toilet but I'm telling youwith a little graft we'll get this onto the market in notime at number two and coming out in early access
we have Landlord superwhich incidentally comes from the developer of jalopy which looking atthis will it kind of make sense fundamentally it's a sim about workingand being an odd job jack-of-all-trades kind of person trying to make your waywithin a part of the UK known as the Midlands within the
1980s it's all donewithin the first person and from the looks and sounds of things it will tryand deliver what's called an honest insight into the culture of the time inwhat was an era of drastic political and social upheaval the aim is to come outof early access with a
full launch of the game in around twelve months timewith the period of early access being used to tweak the overall gameplay forthe better and to add of course additional content while much of thegame does see you try and build and fix things there's also more to be done
byway of meeting and talking with the locals with you also able to pop downthe local pub and have a pint or two and who knows in doing so you might also getnews of other jobs that might be coming your way the Landlord super looks ratherinteresting we're fascinated to
see where it takes itself will it be a grimportrayal of the snapshot in time or will it try and elevate itself intosomething more hopeful we'll find soon enough with it coming out on April the30th also out on April 28th this week'snumber one is moving out now we've been
lucky enough to play this one in fullbefore launch and to be honest this game is right up there in terms of being oneof the best couch co-op games you can play across PC or any of the currentgeneration of consoles it's similar in what it does to let's say
overcookedalthough in many ways it's actually a harder game to play well than thatpreviously mentioned title as in many ways there's less of a structure in howyou're best able to complete the jobs asked of you while there is a singleplayer moving out is best played in co-op with two
players things can getpretty zany although with three or four different people on screen at any onetime well it's also very disorganized chaos from the outset it really isbrilliant and also comes with a huge array of accessibility options to makeit suitable to pretty much everyone which is a great
little touch andsomething we'd love to see more developers implement within their gamesmoving out is out today and as this video drops it comes to PC and all ofthe consoles by way of their online stores or if you fancy it you can pickthis one up with a physical copy
from selected outlets and if you want to knowwhat we think about this one in more detail be sure to check out our fullreview which you can find down in the description or by clicking the cardthat's shown on screen in some playback locations so as we move closer to
