Trading from Outside the USA [How To for Non US Residents]

Hey, it's Clay atClayTrader.

com and in this video I want to show you how youcan trade the USA markets, whether that be the stockmarket or the options market.

if you life outside of the United States.

This has gotta be the top question I get from non-US residents, “Hey, Clay, I see whatbroker you're using, “or I see some of the otherbrokers that you recommend, “but they don't support, you know, “insert blank of my country.

” So I've been research andresearching and finally came across this site here, who has, and the number one reason whyI am recommending them is, as you're gonna see, they basically support the entire world.

And as far as I've come across, they're gonna be your bestbet to actually gain access to the US markets.

Also just from a disclosure standpoint, if you do click on the link that's either, if you're watching this onYouTube in the description box, or if you're clicking the linkright down below the video on my site, that is an affiliate link, so I just want to betransparent about that.

However, like I said, the whole affiliate thing really has nothing to do with this, and I think I'll make strongcase as soon as I show you the list of countries thatthey actually support.

But just to set things off, and why I also like them.

So who is this company? Well, the company is Firstrade.

So this is who I woulddefinitely recommend and several reasons for it.

The first one, like I said earlier, so this is, you know, the actual site.

Now keep in mind if you'rewatching this video, you know, two years from now, theirsite may look different.

But the core point here is that if you go through these steps, you may have to look inlittle different areas, but also you'll want todouble-check these things.

But the way to get to theinternational section is just down here at the bottom, you can see under SpecialServices right here, you have, well, International Accounts.

So I'm just gonna ahead and click on that, and we'll go throughsome of the main reasons why I think that, you know, they're really, really solid.

The first is really, I mean there's no offshorebroker stuff here going on.

This is all their clearinghouseis all being insured, so they're with theregulatory authorities here in the United States.

So very strict.

So this is not, you know, some sort of, no offense to you Caribbean brokers, but that stuff can get a little sketchy.

But here everything is being regulated within the United States, sothat's a solid right there.

And then also always good to see, you know how long have they actually been around? And over 30 years as of therecording of this video.

So since 1985.

So one of those thingsthat's reassuring to see that they're not some sortof broker that just opened up last week and it's like, okay, is this legit? They've been around a long time.

And they also have, and I'll point out thata little bit later, you know you can trade online, you can trade throughyour mobile and all that.

And then yes, of course, and I would argue this is not the most important reason because you know anybodycan give zero commissions.

But for example, if they'rea scam then who really cares? But they are also azero-commission broker, so you're gonna have thatsituation in your favor also.

So you look down here and you can see that there is plenty of, I mean I guess you probablydon't need the sales pitch of why you should chooseto invest in the US market if you're already seeking out this video and watching it still.

But right down here youcan see now it becomes, you know, more transparentin the sense of, okay, well as an internationalperson, what do I need? So they have all the, basically, questions right here.

How to apply.

Do you qualify? So it goes through all that, but as far as this list right here, I mean pretty mind-blowing whenyou stop and think about it.

But Supported Regions, so let's go down there.

And you can click on ittoo, just to make sure, 'cause I suppose this could always change.

But you click on this and right here you can see the list ofthe supported regions.

I suppose I don't know howmany countries are in the world off the top of my head.

Should I know that fact? I'm not quite sure.

But you can see all of them right there.

So I mean, like I said, thisis the number one reason, Clay, I'm in whatever country.

So if I reference this video to you, it still may not be whatcountry you live in, but like I said, I just can'tmemorize all those countries.

But like I said, I feelas though my probabilities are the highest if I, you know, direct your attention to Firstrade because as you saw from that list, absolutely gigantic.

And then just to show the, we'll go back to the Home page.

So you look down here andyou know, typical stuff, I mean the zero trades.

But they have, you know, anice platform right here.

So you can see that, Imean, good solid stuff.

And most importantly, itwill allow you to get access to the United States markets.

So that is who I would recommend.

If you want to sign upwith it and fool around.

I will say that I signedup in an account and now, granted, I am a U.

S.

resident, but the signup processwas very, very quick, very, very easy.

And from that point of view I can say that it was a verystraightforward process.

But yeah, if you're lookingto get into the stock market or the options market.

And you know get involvedin the United States market which I would say is a verywise decision on your part given that they the biggestmarkets in the world, the most volume, and all that.

Then yeah, Firstrade iswho I would recommend at least starting with, becauselike I said and as you saw, they offer pretty much everycountry in the world it seems.

So I would start off there.
