Hi! This is Natsuhana travel channel.
We would like to take you to the Philippines a very beautiful country with crystal clear waters, white sandy beach and very nice local people Philippines is madefrom more than 7600 islands and there is absolutely no shortage to explore new things in the Philippines.
so this time we have traveled to CebuOslob, Dumaguete, Tikao, and Manila.
But first, please subscribe us and like our video! In this video, we would like to show youabout Cebu.
We went to Cebu when it was New Years Eve.
So we had some of parties.
.
.
So we don't like to show you about the city and how we met through the New Year'sEve.
Cebu is very famous for resorts with beautiful beaches and it's huge city close by.
It is also famous for exotic street foods and Filipino cultural food such as lechon.
We had it a lot of times right? yeah so we're gonna talk about lechon afterwards, but firstlet's go into Cebu.
Cebu is one of the southern islands fromManila and there are direct flights with Philippine Airlines going from Japan, LA, England and many other places.
From Narita to Cebu is about 4.
5 hoursand for with the direct flight, and from LA Airport to Cebu is about 14.
5 hours.
From International Airport to the city it's about 15 kilometers And we usually use taxis which is about 300 to 400 Filipino pesos.
This time we used grab and grab can be very useful fortransportation in Cebu.
In Cebu, there are so many hotels to choose from.
There are many resort hotels in Mactan, and many other hotels in the Cebu Cityarea and this time we used Marco Polo hotel because they have one of thebiggest parties in Cebu at Marco Polo hotel.
It is about $170 to $250 per nightduring the New Year's Eve in Marco Polo hotel.
So the hotel was still on a Christmas mood I think.
.
.
And theytold us that they doChristmas mom for three months right? From October to January.
.
.
like til the end of January? yeah so they were like a lot of Christmas decorations everywhere in the city and in the hotel and I thought it was kind of interesting that they put these huge dolls on the Christmas tree that's pretty of kind of unique right? yeah In the middle So, hotel so we went to the pool during the morning and for was kind of nice, it was very young mellow with not so many people, some people are taking breakfast by the poolside and some people were in the pool and that was it.
so let's go to to the city side.
So first, we went to Ayala mall, which is one of the biggest mall in Cebu It was really big right? There were 4 stories or 5 stories high it's very big and I don'tthink you can finish on looking at all the stores in one day.
We got a lotof gifts.
.
.
you should come here to buy a lot of gifts.
There are casual souvenirs to handcrafted.
.
.
like bags and some unique things.
So I got abag and and she got some magnets and we got some soaps and some beauty supplies.
we got a lot of gifts to take home sothis is a must I think this is a must place to come and shop around.
The staffs here are very frindly and when you talk to them, they might give you some discounts.
We were kind of hungry so we kind of like stood in line for lechon.
And they justactually brought the whole pig on the table and started cutting.
So we werelike waiting in line and we got some lechon for us and some rice wrapped inthis bamboo leaves and the lechon was really really good.
But the rice wasit was kind of hard so the next stop in the city is abeautiful church it is one of the oldest historical and very beautiful CatholicChurch in Cebu Basilica del Santo Nino in Cebu City.
When you look at this architecture you can tell that this is a European style.
The church was built on the exact spot where the Spanish explorers in 1565founded in Scripture of the Holy Child Jesus.
There is a museum inside thechurch and you can learn more about the old times of Christianity in Cebuthe Museum presents a various century old furniture and thick objects and someof the Sentinels old clothes donated by devotees and we were sitting down one of the art antique chairs in the church with the antique prayer mats on thebottom and it was was very old fashion and really really loved it.
But there was a mass inside the church so we couldn't really stay that muchlonger Maybe because of the New Years Eve celebration time, there were a lot of people visiting the church.
So we got our ticket to tonight's New Years Party so we're gonna get dressedup and let's go to the party So we started with a banquet dinner at the banquet hall and there were TV reporters coming in and they were doing a lot of entertainment and singing and games and price to goand was kind of fun watching it and you ready drinking a lot it's a free flow of wine beer whatever you call it so you just just name it and they'lljust bring it to you and after the dinner, ended around like 10 o'clock, we went to different pace where we had an afterpartyand over there there was a band and DJ so we were like dancing itto it and finally at the new year's countdown we had a very big new yearcountdown and the after-party and right in front of our hotel we got to see thisbeautiful firework.
In the northern hemisphere, its very cold in this season, but here, it was a very nice climate with good temperature so it was really good to spend time outside and watching fireworks.
Our hotel has a very good location to watch the firework so I really recommend to come to this hotelfor the New Year's Eve if you can't book the hotel like if you can still get aticket so you can have fun, but if you booked a hotel like you don't reallyneed to worry about if you have to go back to the hotel and stuff like thatyou just go upstairs to your room so I really recommend staying at the hotel.
So this was our Cebu experience next time we will go to Oslob which islocated south of Cebu Island where there's a lot of excursions and we'regoing to experience going to Sumilon Island which has a beautiful island with sandbar and swimming with the shark whale.
So until next time, see you soon! Bye!.
