When Will You Feel Ready To Travel Again?

we know the travel industry is being hit so hard by the kovat 19 outbreak there's a new survey now that shows that asking people when would they want to travel again it's a survey from upgraded points and it found that 20% of people said that they would be

comfortable traveling for non-essential non business travel again next year in 2021 13% said as soon as may of this year another 13% in June the rest the people surveyed were scattered throughout the year 41% said contracting koban 19 was their main fear followed by spreading the virus to

family and friends and I understand that that is that is my main fear of course I would love to go see my parents we actually had a trip planned in March that we canceled and I would love for the opportunity to go see them now or in June

or in fly but I I'm not booking anything I just I'm not sure I'll even know the answer to that one yet how about you Riley when do you think when do you think you'll feel comfortable to travel again you know it's just thinking about this yesterday because

it was nice outside and it was warm and I was like wow occasionally nice right now to go to a beach or something like that to but I'm kind of you know what Heather I'm not booking anything right now yeah you know I I'm fine being here you

know the thing is I do miss my family that lives away and I think that's hard my mom was gonna come up here in April for her birthday and we had to cancel that you know to be safe I mean luckily you know we can talk on on

FaceTime and stuff but yeah I'm kind of Heather's but I'm just not booking anything right now I want to go somewhere but I want it safe yeah yeah I think a lot of people feel that way we want we were feeling the urge to get out and go

do something but just with the uncertainty you think I mean honestly we are at you know in anything you have this range of risk that you're willing to assume right like just living life has a certain amount of risk but here I think we're still so early in

our understanding of all this like we're in the I want to assume as close to zero risk as possible that may change as we learn more as we have treatment or better options but right now it's there's so much uncertainty I'm I'm in the and you know you

guys know me I am not normally in the extremely cautious and but that is where that's where I am – the thing is – is I was even thinking about this yesterday you know it's like the world you know eventually can go to restaurants again and actually live

our daily lives like we used to it's going to feel strange you know you're gonna you want to get it back out there naturally and being with people but it is going to feel very different that first time we can actually really get to do that again well
